Non-diet support for binge eating, food guilt and body image
Support for the hard food and body moments, right when they happen.
When the urge to binge hits, emotional eating takes over or your body feels like the enemy, Food & Body Compass gives you a short, practical tool for that exact moment, on your phone or computer. Created by psychotherapist Vania Phitidis.
In-the-moment: 10 days free, then £5.99 a month · Full: £11.99 a month
Sound familiar?
The hardest moments rarely happen in a therapy room. They happen at 10pm in the kitchen, after a comment about your body, or scrolling in bed.
Food & Body Compass is built for exactly these moments.
The urge to binge
When it feels like nothing will stop it once it starts.
Guilt after eating
The voice that says you've ruined everything.
Bad body image days
When you want to hide, or cancel your plans.
The pull to restrict
Skipping meals, or making up for what you ate.
Comparison spirals
After seeing other people's bodies online.
How it works
-
1
Tap what's happening
Choose the moment you're in, like an urge to binge, guilt or a hard body day. No searching, no long forms.
-
2
Use a tool for that moment
Short audio guides and step-by-step worksheets, written by a psychotherapist, help you pause and choose what you do next.
-
3
Notice your patterns
Log moments in a few taps and see what tends to set things off, and what actually helps you.

Grounded in Intuitive Eating
Learning to trust your hunger, fullness and cravings again.

Questions
Is Food & Body Compass therapy?
No. It's a support tool for the moments in between, not a replacement for therapy or medical care. Many people use it alongside working with a therapist, or as a way to start making peace with food.
Is this a diet or weight-loss app?
No. There's no calorie counting, weighing or meal plans. Food & Body Compass takes a non-diet, weight-neutral approach based on Intuitive Eating and mindful eating, helping you understand and respond to urges rather than control your food.
Is it right for me if I have an eating disorder?
It can be a helpful extra, but it isn't specialist eating disorder treatment. If you think you might have an eating disorder, please speak to your GP. Beat, the UK's eating disorder charity, runs free helplines.
If you have an active restrictive or purging eating disorder, or if you are experiencing trauma that is significantly affecting your daily functioning, please speak with a qualified professional before using this platform.
Do I need to download an app?
No app store needed. Open Food & Body Compass in your phone's browser and add it to your home screen. It then opens like any other app.
What's the difference between the two plans?
In-the-moment (£5.99 a month) gives you every in-the-moment tool and starts with 10 days free: cancel before the trial ends and you won't be charged. Full (£11.99 a month) adds workshops and learning with Vania, and starts straight away. You can cancel either plan any time from Settings.
Is my information private?
Yes. What you write and log is only used to run the app for you. We never sell your data or show ads, and you can download or delete everything from Settings at any time.
Next time the hard moment comes, have something ready.
